In case you forgot to save your private key or brain wallet, and you did download the Wallet-backup file, your CORION Wallet is safe.
If you do not have any of the 3 options (brain wallet or back up file or private key) than we cannot help you in unlocking your wallet!
Wallet backup file:
At the moment of downloading two files are created, which cannot be used independently.
One is generated on the server encrypted and useless on its own.
The other gets encrypted on the user side including all the data connected to CORION address. On its own it is useless as well. The file on the user side is the key to release the file created on the server. These two should meet to have access to the data stored in the file.
But how do they meet?
CORION Wallet has a function to allow to import different accounts. This happens to CORION addresses as well. Well, if you do not have other than your Wallet-backup file, the only thing you have to do is to sign in your wallet, choose Import in the Account settings menu and upload the file.
IMPORTANT!!!!
Please note that the backup file is protected with the password what was in use when the file had been created! If you reuquest password reset and your backup file is encrypted with the password been reset than you won't be able to use your wallet as it will be locked due to the encryption failure caused by the conflicting passwords between the backup file and wallet with the new password. To be able to use your wallet after password reset set your cID as with that in place (and you remember the cID) you can avoid getting your wallet locked!
If you lose your private key to someone, or it gets stolen, relocate every asset of yours to a new address immediately. Failing to do so, may result in losing every single token of yours.
Corion Team recommends to move your tokens to another address, because in case you lock yourself out from your wallet, we have to make all your addresses Watch Only. Why tempt your fate? Just move to a new address.
