Now Corion operates on the ETC network. At each transaction you have to pay the fee for the ETC network. GAS is a type of fee for using the Ethereuem blockchain.
Since CORION is a token based on the ETC chain, you have to pay GAS for every transaction.
If you use Corion you pay both Corion transaction fee and GAS. Please consider the following:
Making a simple transaction on the Ethereum Classic blockchain needs much lower amount of GAS than setting up a provider account, as it involves contract calling as well. This is why the levels hugely vary in transaction count.
The Corion fee is 0.02%, but minimum 0.02 CORION Token and maximum 5 CORION Tokens.
80% of the Transaction fee will be burned, 20% will be transferred to the Schelling gameprizepool.
It is always the owner’s address that pays the transaction fee.
We recommend you to always keep at least 0.2 ETC on your address.
OPTIMAL – The address has sufficient amount of ETC on it, you can send a lot of transactions.
GOOD – About 6-8 transactions left.
CRITICAL – About 2-5 transactions left.
FATAL – About 1 transactions left.
ZERO – No more ETC on address, you should send ETC to this address.
If you don't have enough than You have two alternatives here:
1. You send ETC directly to the address. Simple as that.
2. You can buy GAS at the GAS station in your wallet for CORION.
You are eligible for fill-up if:
– your ETC balance is below 0.2 ETC on the address.
– you have enough ETC to send a transaction
– you have about 4 COR on the same address to exchange to ETC
One fill-up will increase you ETC balance with 0.2ETC
IMPORANT! You need GAS also for buying GAS. We recommend to transfer ETC (at least 0.1 ETC) into the Corion wallet first!
